At the time of my arrival at Pace, I was a complete mess, I had hit rock bottom and was on the verge of losing everything. From losing material things such as a car and house to losing my relationships with my mom and my wife.
This has by far been the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my whole life, from facing my fears to feeling every emotion. As many ups I had downs and now I am at a place of acceptance, love and forgiveness. While being here I have found my Higher Power and have seen Him work and perform miracles in my life. I have finally found internal happiness and love and feel completely blessed. This has been a life-changing experience and I am truly grateful to everyone.
Individual Counselling
I thought and felt the individual counselling was very therapeutic. If I ever entered the session upset, down or uncomfortable I always left feeling better and generally with a more open mind.
Group Counselling
I enjoyed Daniele’s groups as we were more active and had more practical tasks. The rest of the groups were insightful just a bit of over information and too much written work.
Step Work Counselling
I found this to be very helpful as it gave me someone to concerning my work and the ongoing things that bothered me. I always left feeling motivated.
Facility
I believe the facility is ever-growing and developing. I felt at home, just wish there were more sports grounds.
Meals
I have absolutely no complaints about the food, wish we did have dessert maybe once a week. haha
Fellowship
I believe the fellowship is fantastic and besides counsellors, step work or my Higher Power helping me and guiding me the fellowship guidance is unbelievable.
General
Haha, goodwill was always an issue for me as I don't really like manual labour but see the importance of it. My whole experience here was just phenomenal.
