I came to PRC recovery believing alcohol was my problem and that I was different. Upon talking to some clients and what they have done, I did not feel I belonged here, but seeing as I found myself here I thought I might as well give it a try. That was the best choice I could have ever made. From walking through this door like an overweight, walking fire hazard with no self-esteem, no hope, and zero drive to this motivated, attractive, spiritual happy person I have become. The staff here are great. They each contribute their own special type of flavour to the crazy pot and at first, hated it here, but now can’t imagine my life without these people, NA my higher power and the tools to live great.
Really awesome and enlightening. Gave me a great perspective on life. Gave what I felt a voice and can actually open up and say what I mean and feel, so it is understandable.
The group sessions were one of the highlights here in recovery. I learned so much about myself and how I can, by just making certain adjustments, totally change my life.
Step Work Counselling
Mornè is probably one of the most interesting people I have ever met. He made it easy to share things I never would. He was an awesome guide and motivator and he is one seriously chill dude.
The facility is well equipped, neat and tidy. Could do with an upgrade, but everything I needed was available and my stay was comfortable. Enough to keep busy during free time.
Meals were really great, the kitchen staff really put lots of care and love in the food, especially Tersia and it showed.
The fellowship here is really strong with awesome members that make you feel at home and very comfortable.
The facility can do with a coat of paint. A bit of miscommunication could also be bettered.
