I arrived at Pace Recovery Centre feeling hopeless. I thought I was a bad person, I won’t be helped. The staff and clients gave me love and care made me feel like part of the family. They helped me through the program and I came to realise that I was not a bad person, I had just done bad things. I learned how to be happy again and most importantly I learned how to live a productive sober life. Pace Recovery Centre gave my life back and I will forever be grateful to them for that. I learned how to forgive myself and let go and let God.
Individual counselling was very good, they made me be opened, giving me advice and listening without judging. Help me to overcome my personal issues and have me the tools to handle my issues in the future.
We dealt with topics that I find useful and can apply in all aspects of my life.
Step Work Counselling
Helped me to identify myself and make my commitments to be responsible and be able to identify my wrongs and make amends.
It was comfortable, clean and neat and felt like home.
It was healthy and delicious, I was never hungry.
Where I can express myself without any judgement, where I can find some solutions to my problems, share my experience and what I’m going through.
I enjoyed my stay very much, the people were like my second family and things I’ve learned here will benefit me for the rest of my life.
