PRC has allowed me to rediscover my will to live life through sobriety. A personal, individually based rehabilitation program, backed by compassionate skilled staff have made my stay feel like a home away from home. I can honestly say that I feel when I walk out these gates that I will be ready to handle the challenges of life without the use of drugs. To the staff, a big thank you for all you have done for me. Your approach to rehabilitation is something all rehabs should strive to achieve, and I’m glad I got to be part of your family on my journey of recovery.
Individual Counselling
Jane has been amazing in my recovery. I felt that I could open up and that she understood my personal problems of my addiction. In 30 days I feel that my life has turned around under her direction.
Group Counselling
All groups were interactive and informative. The low numbers kept them personal. I realise that I may have been here for only 30 days but I probably could have taken a few more onboard as group slots never took up the whole time allocation.
Step Work Counselling
A big part of the recovery process and the in-depth nature of it here at PRC will be key to its success. For me, Mart is great at being a step work coach, but there is only 1 of him and although clients numbers are low now, what happens when there are 24 clients?
Facility
The facility is well maintained and looked after, it serves its purpose.
Meals
Food was always good. To come to rehab and have home-cooked meals is a big plus. Nutritional balance and consideration are well planned. ++
Fellowship
Fellowship, while I have been here, is amazing. I feel I will take lifelong friendships from here. The value and inspiration a newcomer can draw from fellow addicts are truly priceless. I have been really lucky here.
General
To Mart and Janine – a real big thank you. Your consideration of my family time has meant more to me than I could ever show or write in words. Your Xmas dinner really made this feel like a home away from home, and I am truly grateful. Your support for Sarah has been amazing, and I feel like this rehab was meant for me. I’m sure you will see a lot more of me in the future, as a visiting sober addict that is.
