I arrived at PRC Recovery without hope, but with desperation to get help. The program gets to me and works on my soul. I have learned that I am not alone in this suffering. I was introduced to a power greater than myself and to a Higher Power. I found reason to live, courage, hope and faith through working the steps. I am now a man with hope and faith because of my Higher Power. The steps worked wonders for me and I have sustained sobriety without hustle. This I am carrying forward for the rest of my sober life.
Individual Counselling
The individual counselling has helped me a lot to talk about my problems and about my feelings. Therefore this platform should continue to occur.
Group Counselling
I feel pamphlets should be made and handed out for the clients to read and understand in their own time.
Step Work Counselling
My coach has been there for me each time I needed help. Her availability helped me to understand more about my recovery, she also boosted my seriousness towards recovery.
Meals
The menu should be revised, especially breakfast. I suggest, eggs, bread, chicken livers, polony and pap served once or twice a week.
General
One gets more information about the 12 steps. The previous facilities I have been at only briefly touches on subjects.
