What I've learned at PRC Recovery is the foundation of my dreams.
I have learned about trust, honesty, faith, hope, open-mindedness and willingness. I will forgive myself and make amends where possible. I will ask forgiveness from God and I won't repeat the same mistakes again like relapsing while in treatment. I have learned that I can not do this on my own, that a Higher Power can do this for us all. Before I came to PRC recovery I did not know how to be honest with myself and others or how to clean up the mess I made in active addiction. I must be honest with myself, for a long time I have been masking my fears through addictions. Everything I need to know is revealed to me. I am healthy and my life is filled with energy. I am free of the past.
Individual Counselling
Compliments to Persty, she was good at counselling. I did have plenty of lessons with her, the group on purpose in life motivated me a lot.
Group Counselling
I attended many groups. The groups were very positive and I learned a lot from these slots. I will keep what I have learned going forward in my life.
Step Work Counselling
I am very happy with my coach, because she guided me where I did not understand, I learned from her to ask for help. I have done that. What I needed was revealed to me. I am willing to change and grow. Thanks a lot, my journey with my coach was interesting.
Facility
The facility is quiet, I enjoyed exercising in the gym. Sometimes I used to run or jog in the morning. I enjoyed it so much. I will also come for visits in the future.
Meals
I enjoyed the meals I got every day. I am sure they are healthy because my complexion has changed. I am looking fresh, I am grateful for that.
Fellowship
I have learned a lot from the NA meetings. I would like to thank the people who have shared their experiences. Some of them helped me build on my recovery. In closing, I met new friends in NA and will attend meetings going forward.
General
Some learn to forget and some learn to remember. What I have learned at PRC Recovery is the foundation of my dreams. Now I can see clearly. Lastly I won't do or commit something that I am going to feel guilty or sorry about. I am willing to change and grow, all is well in my world. I am now loving, loveable and loved.
