I have learned to be grateful for life because of PRC Recovery.
I have learned to understand what I was going through. I now understand the fact that I have a purpose to live and be able to wake up in the morning. I have learned to be grateful for life because of PRC Recovery.
Individual Counselling
I was nervous for the first five minutes but after that I was free to express my feelings. It was a good platform for me to express myself, it helped me a lot with how to deal with my problems and how to budget. The experience I had with Kerileng on individual counselling is to know myself or find myself and how to deal with my anger/temper.
Group Counselling
From the group on cross addiction I learned that I can transfer from one addiction to the other and exchange it. I learned about all the different types of drugs and how harmful and dangerous they are. I knew only a few, now I know all of them.
Step Work Counselling
I had some confusion regarding myself and the things I was experiencing in my life after I became aware that addiction is a disease and that I am not a monster.
Facility
PRC Recovery is a proper place to be at because the facility is perfectly fine. The 12 step program has helped me understand that addiction is a disease and I am looking forward on working on it in my daily life.
Meals
The meals are fine, it is good for me to have a balanced diet.
Fellowship
AA/NA meetings allowed me to share my experience, strength and hope. I felt comfortable with sharing anything without fear because nobody was going to judge me. The fellows are good people, I have learned a lot from them. It was fun being around people with different personalities and the same problems. What Makes PRC Different? I think PRC Recovery is different because they don't focus on materialistic things, they focus on spirituality and the addiction itself. Everything they do is focussed on our well being.
