Thank you to all the staff for accepting me back after my last relapse, you have been very tolerant, understanding, and caring toward me.
I have always felt comfortable when I was in sessions. You have given me the program, guidelines, and suggestions to straighten out my life and I have no doubt that I will be able to face life on life’s terms when I leave.
Thank you PRC Recovery helping me restore my peace of mind and heart as well as kick-starting my new lifestyle.
I have 103 happy clean days, and I am very grateful to be part of the family here.
I would have liked to spend more time with the social worker.
Group topics were relevant and well-communicated, and I learned a lot about myself during the group slots. I suggest using more media for the group topics.
Step work Counselling
Morne was an excellent recovery coach. Very tolerant, helpful, insightful, and always willing to help me, even during his free time. Step work counseling was awesome, definitely enjoyed the times sitting with my coach going through my work, and discussing my progress. I suggest that newcomers and people that are busy with step four especially need more counseling.
I love the location of the facility, surrounded by nature.
The quality of the food is nice and it is always prepared with love. Thanks to all the kitchen staff.
NA and AA meetings were great and it was good to hear people share their hope, strength, and experiences with each other.
Group counseling slots should not be replaced with step work. Music should be allowed on MP3 players during step work slots. OT class would be nice.
What makes PRC recovery different?
Recovery coaches and counselors are always willing to help. The 12-step program is intense and it really works if you work it. Have fun whilst working on recovery.
Being pushed mentally with real-life scenarios made my recovery an interesting rollercoaster ride. I know that I will be able to face life on life’s terms.
