Apart from many of the previous mentioned criteria you should look at, we will go into a bit more detail about what makes our treatment programme effective. Yes, we are registered, provide specialist staff, offer detox off-site and cater for both short- and long-term programmes, but there is more to the story.
Our orientation procedure kicks off with assignments focused on nipping some issues in the butt. It might come across as a no-nonsense approach but it allows for the client to overcome any possible denial. Our staff is dedicated to point out the hope that surrounds you as some of them were living a life of addiction too.
Our Individual Treatment Plans are not developed by us. We merely facilitate methods to guide you to the conclusions which will determine your true intentions in terms of goals and objectives. You come to realise your false beliefs are not who you are and teach you coping skills to let go of the guilt and shame by means of evidence-based therapy (clinical disciplines that are scientifically proven).
Making use of Feedback Informed Therapy (FIT) to empower the client and their family about their treatment. Special software is incorporated to our programme giving live feedback to the client and their families.
Even if you’re not new to the Fellowship of the Twelve-Steps Programme, we take an approach that is enlightening. Doing the Steps will still be tough as it digs deep but with our guidance you’ll learn methods to get down to the core problems, giving you a sense of accomplishment.
Our teachings about the Steps together with our Recovery Coaches will not discourage you to complete your story. You will be introduced to the Fellowship meetings and experience the bond created by sincere sharing.
Connecting with peers that have gone through similar situations will remind you of the hope that surrounds you in time of doubt. Not only does the Fellowship assist with recovering addicts but has established support for family members too.
Focusing on life in sobriety through your new eyes, it is important to realise that you can have fun sober. Not only will you be exposed to numerous recreational activities during your stay, but we teach you that life without substance use is where your life actually begins.
You’ll learn when to take risks to allow freedom and courage. Your outlook on normal things changes as you realise your abuse just dulled out your ability to receive pleasure from normal things. Most importantly, you learn to be yourself.
An important aspect of your programme is family participation. We cannot stress this enough. Not only do we help reconnect the broken bonds but teach the entire family communication and boundaries that is vital in your recovery. It is crucial to include them in your recovery because if nothing changes with your situation at home, your aftercare might be impacted.
We emphasise the importance of the hope we facilitate of the healing process between families.
Finally, we are truly excited about our accredited life skills training modules. With the entire treatment programme, you will be issued with a certificate and actual NQF credits which can be used as part as your education development. These credits are valid on the South African platform and will be recognised by any employer. All training modules are internationally aligned and are content appropriate. Doing all modules qualifies for a full qualification on Level 4.
Choose us as your partner to start you on your new journey of re-discovery. A path that is enlightening and inspiring and allows you to be all you can be.
