What inspired you to work in this field?

As a health professional, working with different individuals, I have identified the increase in the number of people with different addictions which inspired me to be in the field in aiming to bring change.

What motivated you to join the team?

I have noted how addiction can have an impact in an individual’s life, therefore joining the PRC team was a way to restore the impacted skills and become a part of their success stories.

What unique qualities or experience do you bring to your role?

As an Occupational Therapist I am able to assist each individual to restore necessary skills and abilities to be able to function on a daily basis.

What aspects of your job do you find most rewarding?

Seeing my clients rediscover the meaning in their life and able to play a role is most meaningful.

Memorable success story?

Individuals who give themselves a second chance in their recovery and become recovery coaches, helping others to maintain a life of sobriety.

What do you find challenging working in this field?

Clashes in client culture and beliefs, occasionally affecting group dynamics.

What values or principles guide your approach to supporting the clients?

My principles are forgiveness ,commitment, collaboration, respect, creativity, kindness and mindfulness.

What is your personal mission statement?

To promote individual ability and optimizing abilities that are meaningful.

Reading books and having adventures. I love exploring new things.
