What inspired you to work in this field?
My fiancé Morne, he worked in this field before and sharing his experiences and the gratification from helping others inspired me to pursue the opportunity when it presented itself.
What motivated you to join the team?
Besides the passion portraited by Mart and Jeanine, the opportunity to serve and be part of the rehabilitation journey of our clients and something bigger than myself. In essence to serve.
What unique qualities or experience do you bring to your role?
My previous roles instilled a culture of teamwork and collaboration in me, I am confident we can achieve great things together that will not only benefit us but most importantly our clients.
What aspects of your job do you find most rewarding?
For me personally, even though I don't work directly with the clients on a day to day basis, it so be part of their journeys, listening to their life stories and getting to know the person behind the addiction.
Memorable success story?
What do you find challenging working in this field?
The heartbreak you witness and hear in our client's voices, life stories revealing raw emotions as they work through the programme. And of course, saying goodbye at the end of their stay.
