What inspired you to work in this field?

My personal journey through 17 years of addiction provides me with unique empathy and firsthand insight. This experience now allows me to guide others effectively from dependence to a life of purpose and light.

What motivated you to join the team?

Having previously been part of the Pace Recovery team, I eagerly returned because this Centre represents the gold standard of care in the industry. Pace is uniquely significant to me as it's where my own journey of professional growth and recovery began.

What unique qualities or experience do you bring to your role?

My personal history allows me to approach clients with deep, authentic connection and relatability. I use my lived experience to connect with clients during their darkest times, offering a source of hope and understanding that is crucial for building trust in the recovery process.

What aspects of your job do you find most rewarding?

My role is fundamentally about strategic impact—resolving complex staff and client issues to ensure a therapeutic environment, helping shape the future of recovery protocols, and experiencing the profound reward of client transformation.

Memorable success story?

The greatest rewards are the long-term validation of our work. Hearing from former clients who are achieving major life milestones—like career promotions, engagements, or celebrating significant sobriety anniversaries—is the ultimate confirmation of our mission's success.

What do you find challenging working in this field?

The most significant challenge is working with clients who are in pre-contemplation—presenting for treatment but not yet internally ready for the commitment to change. Recognizing and navigating this deep-seated ambivalence is essential for effective intervention.

What values or principles guide your approach to supporting the clients?

Integrity, dignity, respect, and compassion are the non-negotiable foundations that guide every decision and interaction within our Centre.

What is your personal mission statement?

For me, success is being the anchor that proves recovery is real — showing through care, integrity, and example that transformation is possible for anyone.

Outside work i spend time with loved ones or i do my best to build more knowledge on Metaphysics, meditation practises etc. anything that helps me think out the box.

Outside of work, what are some of your interests or hobbies?
